Chelsea Gets Healthy


Day 1!

Back in the spring, my husband and I started eating significantly healthier than we were in the past. We started shopping almost every weekend at our local Saturday farmer's market and not eating strictly vegetarian, but pretty close. I am actually a former vegetarian. My favorite vegan friend Sandra is constantly urging me to go full vegan, but I could never, EVER give up dairy. I just love ice cream, milk, and cheese way too much!

Not so sure about this...
So for day one I started out with a cinnamon bagel and Naked Juice Green Monster Smoothie (note, this is NOT a sponsored post, I have no affiliation what so ever). Bagel, delicious. Smoothie, eh. I feel good that I got so much good stuff in my belly but I did have to hold my nose as I quickly drank it down! I am hoping my next flavor tomorrow will be tastier! Not very pretty.
I'm basically working on eating healthier and staying under a certain calorie limit on a daily basis. Nothing extreme, extreme diets lead to extreme weight loss and typical re-weight-gain.

I think my eyebrows do the talking here.
My daily calorie budget is 2,160. For my size and a HEALTHY rate of weight loss, this is a good number. Back in the spring, I lost 15lbs using this method. I think its good to try it again. Today's breakfast of juice and bagel came in at 659 calories, I'm good with that!

Hats off to anyone else making good changes in their lives, no matter what they are. I really hope I can do it this time! Anyone have a favorite Naked Juice flavor??
